The many classes and workshops offered at this retreat are suitable for all levels of students of Tai Chi Chuan. Even if you have never done one Tai Chi movement, we encourage you to come and learn with us.
If you are especially interested in the healing aspects of Tai Chi, you will find ample opportunities to learn how Tai Chi can help advance healing in your mind, body, and spirit. You will learn skills, unique to Tai Chi, which can help improve your energy and strength, relax your body, loosen your joints, and ease your tensions.
If you are coming to learn the Martial Art skills associated with Tai Chi, you will not be disappointed. Sifu Michael Paler is very open in sharing his knowledge of Tai Chi Chuan with you. Keeping no secrets and holding nothing back, he will be available to spend time teaching and instruct small groups, demonstrating the more advanced martial applications and training methods. The Tai Chi Classics tell us that in Tai Chi Chuan training, there is no pure hardness without softness; there is no pure softness without hardness.
Our students experience this retreat as a special time of Tai Chi Rejuvenation, as our Tai Chi, Qigong, Meditation, and other workshops and activities take you into a deep state of well-being and inner peace
Chef Jessica will be serving her delicious, inspired, and healthy meals along with offering organic, vegetarian and vegan cooking workshops. The students even give her standing ovations of appreciation. Mealtimes are very special indeed!
This retreat offers a whole new level of Mind/Body Connection. You can be as relaxed or as active as you like during your stay with us, with optional activities like guided mountain hikes, biking, and kayaking. Or just indulge in a little pampering with a Hot Stone or Thai massage. Of course, after a relaxing Tai Chi class, you can always choose to just sit by the lake with a good book.
